Equipment

Bunsen Burner,water 50 ml,safety mat,gause mat,tripod,beaker,measuring cylinder,gas, saftey glasses.

  3. Prepare the bunsen burner to be lit, and have someone ready to measure the temperature and someone keeping a track of time.
  4. Have a table prepared for results.
  5. Light the bunsen burner (I will supply a lighter), and change to the blue flame then put the bunsen under your beaker.
  6. Measure the water temperature every 30 seconds from 0 to 5 minutes.
  7. Turn off the bunsen burner and leave everything to cool off for a few mins.
  8. Pack up your equipment.

Results

Conclusion
The experiment was a success as we boiled water,we knew this because the temperature exceeded 100c
degrees and the water boiled. Our graph has shown the results in temperature and time.

Crest for Social Studies

I have learnt that crest can Identify you. They can represent you for your belief, your culture and what you enjoy.Their are many families who have the same name that's why there are families.
On the top left hand side, is my scout symbol.this represents my leading side and out doors adventure side. On the top right hand side is my dream to be a pilot in the air force. I enjoy watching planes and tracking them on my computer. The New Zealand map is to represent the place I live and the place I call home. My name is Anaru and the koros are my culture because I am maori and I strongly believe every ones should atleast have morals and believes.
